Cutting Out

Hi guys,

A friend of mine has a R33 GSTS auto, she is having a lil trouble with it. Whats happening is the car is cutting out. she has to drive in snow and o/drive for it to stay on. it seems to be cutting out when its in low revs, when its hot outside, when there is more than one person in the car... strange yes, i know but she's taken it to the mechanic and they keep telling her there is nothing wrong with it, but obviously there is cause its keeps on doing this. can anyone please help

Sounds like a vacum leak, fuel mixture or some sort of fuel starvation.

Give these a try before looking into it deeper.

- Change all filters. Oil, fuel, air.

- Change oil - bad oil can foul spark plugs.

- Clean the AFM

- Check for cracked hoses, tighten intake clamps.

- Check for loose electrical connections.
