After some different sensors to add into the logger but looking for somewhere to buy the sensors from, ideally somewhere that charges a fair price?

Can anyone offer some suggestions (australian?) that they have purchased from before and were happy, looking at the Bosch site i could follow up with a dealer but when i tried a few dealers i got frustrated trying to get prices and part numbers right with them.

Ideally somewhere that actually knows what they are talking about would be great.....

Ive always found ACA to be easy to deal with and providing you have done the leg work, found the part numbers and know what you want they are very helpful.

Ive also found in the past if I call them with a Bosch number they oftern have the same part in their own brand for cheaper.

Automotive Components Australia

(02) 9907 1861

They have their own range of products as well as the generic Bosch etc.

They stock just about everything you could ever need sensor wise and are very helpful.

There is another company whos name I cant remember atm but ill get their contact details for you as well tomorrow.

people like Auto One and other places are agents for ACA, so should have catalouges etc. ive got one at work. if you let me know what your after i should be able to price it and find avalabillity.

thanks, will print out the bosch catalogue with the part numbers and give them a buzz.

ACA is no good, they only have the OEM ones and nothing that i can use on loggers. Tired to use the Bosch part numbers and the guys told me they only do the OEM ones and that is it. I could probally use some OEM type one as long as i could get all the specs on their resistance etc to plug into the loggers data so it knows what it means but might be more effort then it is worth.

Brad,

What was the name of the other place?

.....so ended up getting sensors from Meridian Motorsports in Melbourne.

1 Bosch Water Temp

3 Bosch Oil Temp

2 Delco Air Temp

1 VDO Oil Pressure

All with conectors, the Water and Oil were under $17 each, Air sensor was a little bit more and the Pressure was $99. Have to also get made up a remote mount to put the pressure sensor onto the firewall to insulate against some of the vibration.
