I have R33 GTR Power FC D-Jetro in my S13 with r32 gtr engine.

58pin permanent 12V.

When I turn the ignition on pin 45 takes 12V.. and then pin16 might give ground to the relay.. and then the relay give 12V to 49,59.

But pin16 don't ground anymore.. maybe I tought 12V on pin 16 so I melted it. Now at pin 16 I have 11.3V!! :):(

When ign switch off the pin 16 stay with ground for 2 second more to leave the power fc to save data.

As I read I have melted an transistor in power fc... SIP..

But here in Greece I am not sure if I can find this transistor to change it... also I fear very much.. I don't want any new headache!!

I would like to find any other solution of my problem..

Solution 1

No relay anymore!! Just to put 12V IGN at 49,59!! But the power fc will not save :(

And when I want to save data I will have a switch at 49,59 so firtst I will switch off theese pins and after the ign! So it will save data.

Is there any other reason that we relay? Will I have any problem without relay?

Solution 2

Second relay.. when the new relay have IGN 12V, will give ground to the old relay.

Again will not save except if there is any relay that can keep ground for some seconds more after the ign off.

Solution 3

Funny solution... I have a stock rb25 ecu! If I connect in rb25 ecu grounds and ign 12V at pin 45 I can have ground at pin16! So I will connect this ground at ecu relay :P

Any other solution?
