Repspray Results

Thought i would post some photo's of the respray i just had done!

Just thought i could show what kind of result can be achieved for a resonably low price!! Thats if you have the time and patience to do the work yourself!!

This spray cost me about $1800 dollars, only having to pay for the paint, painter, and booth!! doing all the prep work myself! took me 3 months to prep up while i had lost my licence!

colour is Blue Print from ford, with full cover of gold pearl, with a base coat of white! All done in PPG 2PAK!

Big thanks to Rays Panel and paint in seven hills for the booth, Andrew From Bathurst for the spray, and Suttons holden for the paint!

ps the stripes are actually gold pearl, but the compression of the photo's to get them to fit took most of it out!!

yeah had it back for 3 weeks, so very impressed with the results!

I know when i had my car sprayed, it felt like i'd just bought a whole new car, i wanted to drive it everywhere, especially in the sun, show off the pearls

How hard was the prep work? Have you done any prep work before on another car?

Also, where did you learn to do it, any books, mags, info, tips for others willing to do the prep for themselves (thats where all the labor and $$$ is) ?
