and no, this was my first attempt!! turned out pretty good if i say so myself the prep took me a while, but worth the effort! i bought a book on the prep work, but didn't read it just pickeed it up here and there from talking to people!!!

Nice! The only "bad" thing about it I would say is it now reminds me of a Falcon But still very nice. You got a Ford colour from Holden? That's just weird!

not much differnce between the blue print and the bayside blue!!

you got the paint code for it, see if that are close or match even!

Mine came over that colour, was originally black. No idea on paint code, trying to match it side-skirt repairs now. Bit of a headache

park next to a new falcon in that colour, see how close they are!!

can give the paint code for that no worries!! yeah black is a little hassly to paint over !

but the colours do look very close, bit of a shame can really see the gold pearl on the car and the stripes very well!!

yeah had to get the paint from holden because they are the PPG retailers!!

from what i've been told most PPG reps actually work from holden dealers ships!!

Nah left the engine bay black, will look cleaner overall!!

and way way less work!!!

engine bay still looks pretty standard, polised the engine/cam covers with a drill based buffer but thats about it!! will post some if you still want them!!!

that is one nice paint job! My mum recently bought a new Toyota Echo (don't laugh, i know it's crap but it's our 4th car) and it has a pretty damn cool paint job, blue/gold. In one light it's blue, in another gold. It looks pretty awesome even if the car is a piece of junk :S

But yeah, AWESOME paint job. Seems your hard work really paid off!

the 350Z blue or RX8 crimson red colors are awesome
