Hi SAU Queenslanders,

I'm making the move to Queensland (from Victoria) in the new year to start a new role with the company. I'm planning to bring my skyline over there and get it registered and use it as primary transport. My car has been modified and I currently have a defect standing on the car. Just wondering if this will be an issue when I go to get the car registered there? I understand I can get a mod plate for all the modifications, is this easily acquired? Will this be able to clear my defect and enable me to register it there?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Should I get it cleared when I move to Queensland or get it done here in Vic before I leave? What are your thoughts?

i'd get it done down there mate,

u could have troubles getting it removed here,

and it would b a pain 2 drive down there 2 get it cleared.

then drive back up.....
