when going 100 in 5th the slip light starts to flash sometimes. drop the gear to 4th or 3rd it gets better sometimes. i've read about this on the forums before but forgot where it is and have search but couldnt find anything.

anyone know what might be the cause. it started after i lowered my car.

some sensor of some sort i'm assuming but i'm no mechanical mind...

go to workshop mate, get them to take it for a spin, within 5 minutes they should be able to work it out

hey sunny sounds like a sensor fault try clearing codes from your ecu (disconnect negitive batt terminal and apply the brakes approx 10 sec & reconnet terminal reset clocks and stereo and take for a spin check for light to reappear )before taking it in to workshops as im sure they will charge you inspection fees workshops pull codes from your ecu to find which sensor is causing the light on dash

that's odd though man, you said my car is dodgey and it's an R34 as well but it doesn't do this at all...?

hmm i think its coz mine has too much power so when it feels the boost it comes on to prevent it from fishtailing... unlike dodgy 34's =P
