For Sale

Nissan Skyline R33 Gts-25t

Hello all who may be interested up for sale (regretfully) I have my 1993 Nissan Skyline R33 Gts-t I bought the car a month ago without my parents knowing and when they found out they didn’t approve so now its up for sale here’s the list of mods very sexy and comfortable car.

· Full 3inch turbo-back exhaust with cannon (not incredibly loud “Just Perfect”)

· Full pod filter intake with heat shield for legality purposes.

· 18” Starcorp Rims with 80% tread just replaced all four tyres.

· Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch installed 3 months ago.

· Turbo rebuilt with “Turbologics” Internals running 14psi.

· Fully rebuilt engine with forged internals 20,000km ago. (also engine has lows k’s 133,000)

· Full front mount intercooler kit all installed.

· Full Gtr Body-kit including spoiler, front, back and side skirts.

· Power windows, Tinted windows, Pioneer Head deck, New Battery, Air-con, climate control, sequential blow off valve plumbed into exhaust, Abs, Power locks, 5 speed manual, 4 wheel steer (hicas), dash and rocker covers sprayed purple professionally.

I’m sure there’s heaps more I haven’t mentioned but yeah feel free to come test drive. Beautiful car I am going to miss it terribly. Sounds and runs terrifically has 2months rego left and passed rego easy last time so no need to worry. Now.. the slight problems.

Small ding in driver side door from parking lot car, front body kit modified, boot interior needs to be screwed back together, small button missing on air con controller. Id rather be honest then lie about these things cars are a good investment assuming you buy the right one. J

I Want $10,500ono. Bought for about that much plus spent money on it great bargain.

+1

Dont sell a perfectly good Skyline just cos your folks dont approve... I wouldnt have mine if my parents had their way.

+1.. my mum freaked out when she found out that my "camry" had a turbo.. she over it now though.. my dad is still asking for a drive. lol

yeh well the thing is. i love car so much id rather spend another 10k and keep it but there main concern is i cant insure it so if i blow up my baby or crash it i'm well stuffed.... so understand that part... and also i put myself in some debt over this car and all worth it but i lost my job so i dont know what to do.

so here it is.. if circumstances change ill remove it thanks for the advice guys

insurance is a bitch for skylines i use justcar and they are really good and the cheapest i could find plus you can pay by the month and so forth what feild are you looking for work in ??

I was in a similar position with my last R33 that I bloody loved and ended up selling it....worse thing I could have done, I felt like shit and was immediately looking on the net for prices of a new skyline (although financial resources were scarce). Ended up buying another one with less mods but love this one all the same :D:D.

Moral of the story...If you can work or what ever to manage your funds to keep your car do it coz you will feel horrible if you sell something you love so much.

Once the bug bits it's very hard to contain or get rid of.

lol i let my dad drive my car and all he did was bitch about how hard my clutch is lol (morrol of this story put a brass button clutch in and no one wants to drive your car but you) lol

I assume you live at home and depend on them for board/shelter and possibly under 18, otherwise I'd be telling them EXACTLY where to cram it. My mum has NO idea what our cars can do, nor will she ever find out. You should have just told them you got it cheap and that it's cheap to run. Maybe they're less gullible than mine though. Good luck..

My dad told me not to get my first one and chucked a big stink when I did anyway. Eventually he gave up and was resigned to the fact that it was there. Admittedly that was a non turbo but he liked driving it too.

Now with the GTR he just shakes his head :D

bomb insurance is the way to go, less skylines get stolen now because they aren't worth anything, why waste your time stealing a sub $20K skyline when you can do a +$50K SS/FPV/BMW etc etc.

And if you have full insurance with mods, it costs too much, you could buy another skyline in 5 years with the insurance premiums alone!!!

If you have HP then you can't get out of it unfortunately.

That is a good price for the car, esp. with that turbo and forgies.

lol ive out of home and out of citys of both of my parents my dad is an ex v8 supercar driver and heaps strict till im off my p's and my mum loves it and doesnt want me 2 keep it because of comprehenive she drives it everytime i see her and yeh im 20 but i think they are looking out for me i love this car but i may think its the right thing to do.

Ha! Just cars wont insure me cause my guards are fibreglass...and they didnt mind giving me a quote the past 3 times but the time i actually put it on as i just spend $7000+ repairing it they chuck this at me and explain how their extensive network of repairers dont know f all about how to repair fibreglass... Does this reflect justcar's repairers arent the best pick of the bunch, even though i though you could choose where to have ur car fixed provided the insurance company approved the quote.

NRMA gave me a quote but it was like $1000 more then justcar's preveous one. Going to try shannons, the car enthusiests insurance, but i bet they will say it isnt red or a gogo mobile so they wont insure it. I have yet to give CGU a ring, I'll let you know. But for ur age Kyle you probably find about $3500 a year for comprehesive if they give u a quote. But as far as i think, fully comprehesive doesnt insure against jealous little mole people who like to throw stones...

thanks heaps guys i appreciate all the help god i hope i can keep her still applying for j0bs as soon as i get one i can get a secured loan hopefully and keep my car.

    • Is there a significant price difference between the Evo/gtr/350z brembos vs the F50? Looks amazing.
    • I was actually being a tightarse at the time LOL... My OCD is tickling me into running a 2nd 8AN Teflon hose all the way down and removing the 2x OEM hardlines. My other side of my brain is telling me to run 2x hardlines front to back (also acts as a fuel cooler, so win win).
    • As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had some trouble with the Silvia's brakes dragging back in 2023. I managed to sort it out then, but the same problem came back to bite me late last year. Just take a look at the picture – I had a feeling the handbrake was acting up again, and I was right. Anyway, I'd been wanting to upgrade to bigger brakes for a while. Not that the Silvia's brakes were bad, but it was more of a "want" than a "need", you know? It was funny, though – at the time, I couldn't find any Evo Brembos, 350Z Brembos, or GTR Brembos for a decent price (of course, tons of them popped up online after I already bought my kit!). I ended up going with an F50 Brembo kit, which came with adapters, brake lines, 330mm rotors, and top hats. The F50 Brembo caliper was used in a few other cars too, like the FPV. I also decided this was the perfect opportunity to ditch the Silvia's ridiculous rear brakes and that awful handbrake (some of you were definitely right about that!). I picked up some R33 calipers and all the necessary bits – rear drums, backing plates, and new hardware to refurbish the calipers. Of course, it wouldn't be a project without a few hiccups. Turns out the brake master cylinder was playing up and basically (to put it simply) keeping the brakes engaged. I had it overhauled, and after some adjustments, everything was working again. The whole process took a while, as you can imagine. To top it off, the front right wheel bearings were shot and needed replacing too. This is a rare occasion where I'm posting an update while it's all still fresh! These pictures were taken just this afternoon.
    • I was just going to say that it's good to see you picking up the pace again. Hope the surgery goes well. More downtime just means more time to come up with new ways of digging a deeper rabbithole
    • How do they compare in size? I have the Yaris coil packs in mine and they work fine. But they are either bigger or sit differently so the engine cover doesn't fit anymore. Not the end of the world but not great either. Do the R35 ones sit flush?
