You missed the point there champ.

A "forged motor" (ie. something with forged rods/pistons) doesn't inherrently make more power.

You don't get 1000hp from pistons and rods. You can make decent power by upgrading the support systems and pushing them to the limits on a motor that can handle it.

Somehow I think you're going to have to upgrade the turbos before you really find the limit of a stock VR38. Thus until Haltech do that, building a stronger motor is near-on pointless.

You know what i mean mate. If they are developing the car for modifications for the future, then a future logical step is turbo upgrades, and providing the extra security of a built engine to handle these power outputs isnt pointless.

'Forged' and 'built' eh, learn something new every day :) And heres me thinking that these motors already had forged cranks and rods. Plus were individually hand built in the factory.

OK, I'll lay off now

cheers to haltech for letting me and my beard in to take a look at the 35 when picking up my mate from your training course i was happy as s*&t

Um, the motor looks quite "together" in that pic >_<

angry but intriguing at the same time. one might even say 'rugged'.... mmmmmm rugged... you have that look that says, i'm hard on the outside, but soft on the inside, like a nice champagne truffle.... mmmm.

lol.
