Plumbing Apprenticeship

I'm thinking about getting into a Plumbing.....just seeing if anybody here doing Plumbing Apprenticeship and how its like?

i'm not in plumbing but its probly the best/second best apprenticeship to get into IMO. good conditions and good money, very few trades have both of those. providing u can handle unblocking the odd toilet, you should be fine. when your qualified, get your qualifications to be a roof plumber, i dont know whats involved, but call a roog plumber and just ask him what it costs to do some basic things.

Given my time again - its what i would have done.

Go for it! Look where the plumbers are now compared to 10 years ago (in an even better position than they used to be which wasnt so bad even then)

If the parents let me dropout in year 10 like i wanted, i could have taken over a very successful plumbing business by now... but well, parents know best ey?

Definately one of the better trades IMO for interesting things to go/places to be in etc.

I was working up @ Tulla Airport in Qantas Maint for 3 years during the '90's on school holidays, saw some very cool gear and got to do some great things
