Turning Noise

yer i have tried search

anyway im getting a ticking noise when i turn i know my rims dont rub so i was wondering mby cv's??

any help on diegnosing this problem for me would be great thanks

I get the same, on full lock.

My CV's are in good condition though

yer my dad just checked them and he said they look fine so i duno i cant tell if its comming from the front or back

my problem occours at very low aspeeds and only full lock.

Anyone shed some light on the situation?

i dunno if its the same problem but mine made a churning noise on full lock and progressively startedd getting worse

i was told it was my power steering fluid... topped that up and it was fine...

probably unrelated to yr issue i'd say

i duno it happens on full lock for me i might just check the fluid thickness mby its not the right viscosity

nope seems to be fine i noticed a small leak at the rack but ive tightned up the bolt so i think that has stopped it from leaking

any one know anything my cv's and my bearings on all wheels are in good condition

You say that your Dad checked them and they looked fine...

What exactly did he do to check them??

Its not normally something that you can see when they bugger up.

Is the noise the same both directions ie: left and right??

Is it more noticeable turning in one direction?

Does it get worse with a bit more speed on board?

Does it do it going in reverse?

u turns are when it does it

dosnt matter witch direction

he jacked the whole car up and took all the rims off then f*k knows what he was looking at lol he checked the bearings aswell took the rotors off he looked at everything and couldnt find anything wrong and its got him stumpted

CV Joints are not the kind of thing you can diagnose by looking at them. Especially if the boots are still intact.

It does sound a lot like the issue though. If it goes click click click while turning sharply and then goes away when straightening up I would be getting it looked at by a mechanic in your area.

But that's just me...
