usmair
i dunno if its the same problem but mine made a churning noise on full lock and progressively startedd getting worse i was told it was my power steering fluid... topped that up and it was fine... probably unrelated to yr issue i'd say Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/245525-turning-noise/#findComment-4272844 Share on other sites

DaveGTS4
nope seems to be fine i noticed a small leak at the rack but ive tightned up the bolt so i think that has stopped it from leaking Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/245525-turning-noise/#findComment-4273548 Share on other sites

SSHatch
You say that your Dad checked them and they looked fine... What exactly did he do to check them?? Its not normally something that you can see when they bugger up. Is the noise the same both directions ie: left and right?? Is it more noticeable turning in one direction? Does it get worse with a bit more speed on board? Does it do it going in reverse? DaveGTS4
not in reverse u turns are when it does it dosnt matter witch direction he jacked the whole car up and took all the rims off then f*k knows what he was looking at lol he checked the bearings aswell took the rotors off he looked at everything and couldnt find anything wrong and its got him stumpted Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/245525-turning-noise/#findComment-4276171 Share on other sites
SSHatch
CV Joints are not the kind of thing you can diagnose by looking at them. Especially if the boots are still intact. It does sound a lot like the issue though. If it goes click click click while turning sharply and then goes away when straightening up I would be getting it looked at by a mechanic in your area. But that's just me... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/245525-turning-noise/#findComment-4276314 Share on other sites
