Recommended Posts

If you’ve always wanted to have a go at drifting on the circuit, but didn’t want to attend a fully blown drift day, then we have a course that will suit you perfectly.

To be conducted at Sandown on 17th January 2009, this day is aimed at drivers who want to have a lot of fun and learn plenty about drifting from Australia's best professional drifters including Adam Newton and Luke Fink.

The exercises will be conducted on wet roads to keep the speeds down and minimize wear and tear on your car.

The cost for this course is $195.00 including lunch and refreshments.

We’re taking bookings now, so if you’d like to attend give us a call on 1300 652 693

eek...this should be fun. how is the track gonna be set up? diff groups diff sections? learning how to link corners? semi-high speed corners? how close are the barriers again?...lol

+1 More info on the day please, Wet track ie. Large Skid Pan with cones?

who in their right mind would drive an auto sk.....oh....

I've organized early skidpan days in 2003, and there's some auto cars attended, including a benz, which are purrfectly fine for drifting.

It's the driver who drifts, not the car. If you got skills you can even drift a rickshaw if you really try hard...

will a tiptronic with foot brake (not hand brake) will cut it?

well if u block, by putting a chunk of wood or something there, the release lever so it'll always release the hand brake when ur foot's off it shud work.

so i'm guesing this is gonna happen in the car park? how much track time each?

is this the same as a cams event so needed is a day's cam's license and gear would be required such as adr helmet long sleeve's and closed footwear ?
