Was driving home from work yesterday. didnt even get 100m down the street. driving slowly ofcourse as the engine was cold.

anyways, shifted into third, then slowed down and shifted slowly into second, when i put my foot on the clutch it made a small "click" and then wouldnt let me put the car into gear while it was running. the clutch pedal feels like it has lost 70% of its pressure and there are no leaks or anything. cant work out why it gave way going so slowly and with no real speed behind it.

any help would be great

yeah mate fluids fine, bled the cylinder this morning, thats fine, no air or anything, as i said i dont think its the clutch itself. im fairly certain its something to do with the engaging of it. ie pedal area, cylinder area. something to do with that. towed it to shop today. so should be fixed today/tomorrow.

update: the workshop called me, turns out to be the bracket (support) mount that the pedal mechanism is bolted to. turns it has snapped and needs replacing. thats the good news that its not serious, bad news is dont have access to my car for 5 days atleast. they are getting one from over east. oh well.
