Stooj,

Depends on what you are after. 32's go for as little as $27k, but for a decent one you'll be wanting to spend over 30k. 33's again as little as say $40k but $50 and up will give you a low km later model.. Obviously there will be exceptions and mods can either bump or drop the price depending..

What model are you chasing and what is your budget would be the best place to start.

Cheers

Brett

Real GT-R will have the wider front and rear guards, will have full attessa 4wd system and of course the engine will be an RB26DETT. As for differences between V-spec and non V-spec - on an R33, you'll find a finned diff cover on the V-spec and smooth dome diff cover on the standard edition. For 50K you should be able to find yourself a fairly good condition GT-R. Buy as late model as you can afford too. And make sure you've got insurance lined up before hand too cause if using bank for funds, they'll need to know it's covered. For insurance, you could try the main ones, but wouldn't waste your time. Call Famous Insurance or Silvalake (they're both brokers). Both do imports and I currently have both the GT-R and Silvia insured through Silvalake.

Cheers

50k will get you a decent 33 or a monster 32 depending on what you want...

Fake Gtr's are hard to make and would be expensive anyway so unless someone tries to sell you a gtst as a gtr it shouldn't happen. Vspec in the 32's had brembo brakes, different wheels and stiffer suspension I believe, in the 33's an active LSD, stiffer suspension was about it.

All GTR's have Attessa (Vspecs have Attessa-PRO) which transfers the torque to the front when the rears lose traction if thats what you were asking about..

If you ever come down to Perth let us know and we can show you some of our cars...

Cheers

Insurance for my GT-R at the moment comes in at about $880 but could be wrong. For my previous R32 GT-R V-spec, it was insured for about $46,000 and insurance was ~$1,700/yr. My current R32 GT-R is only insured for $26,000.
