Boost Controller For R34

hey im looking to put a electronic boost controller, wat are your thoughts. i thought about putting HDI Super Electronic Boost Controller - EVOLUTION is this one any good

well it mostly got stock parts on it so prob around 20psi

wat turbo u running? is it internally gated or external?

if internal, get a hks adjustable wastegate which are like up to 15-18psi

if external just get ur hands on a greddy profec b spec 2

dont buy untried shit from ebay. but a brand name ebc so u know it wont have huge boost creep and possibly shit the turbo

i was told that the factory ecu wouldnt let you boost up the level on a 34. is that true?

I agree on the ebay comment to an extent but this EBC isn't an ebay pnly special, it's supposed to work quite well and be good quality.

In saying that the OP may want to track down Hybrid-HDi on these forums as he is the distributor for Hybrid and would probably do a better price than the current ebay listing...

stock ecu does have a boost limiter installed...

i believe from experience it is set at 14.7psi or 1 bar...

but not sure on the r34 gt-t

but that's what it is on a r33 gts-t...

mine was cutting at 14.5psi

it hits hard too

but i have run the signal thru my emanage and have clamped the voltage so now its doesnt cut

you have to watch for airflow cut and the boost sensor cut in the R34

over protective pieces of shit
