What Tyre Pressures For Federal Semi Slicks

Just a quick question regarding correct tyre pressures for these Federal 595 RSR tyres ive got. The tyre place put 45 psi in them which i thought was a bit too much. The Federal website suggests a maximum cold tyre pressure of 44 psi, but does this mean that you cant run them at around 35 psi like normal road tyres?

Good tyres by the way; very sticky.

You usually run these with less pressure than normal road tyres. Maybe start at 35, see what's that's like then try 32 or 30 to compare.

Also very dependant on what tyre size/aspect ratio you have but 36 cold should be more than adequate for the street.
