i had my alarm fitted at a.p. on the recommendation of everyone here and had/am having a bad experience, car is still off the road more than a week later! won't go into it on the forum but if someone wants a pm i'll share.

Nathan, my brother in law works for "a large car audio company" and has been fitting alarms for years, and does extra work out of hours. Let me know if you strike out with the other guys, as he can come to your place and fit it too.

Sorry Ash, if you you'd asked I would've mentioned it! It mustn't have come up in conversation at any stage. Hope the Evo is going well :D

Hi anyone know a reasonable place to get Alarm fitted?, or mobile ones come to you?, i have a rav4 2002 model with imobiliser in it, and central locking but just looking to add an alarm into my already central locking set up , guess you could call it upgrade, is i better i purchase the alarm first ? then call out the fitter?, or do they do both doesnt have to be a top notch alarm , just a standard entry level i guess..one where you can adjust the sensitivity to like a smashed window car jolt...etc im a Novice and just dont have any idea on what to look for or start thanks.... Cash jobs are ok too if you want it :D

Why on earth would someone's first post on SAU be digging up this old thread to find out how to put an alarm in his non-Skyline? Especially when everyone has answered the OP's question in the thread already?
