Just a little curious over this one..

Lots of people seem to be selling their skylines at the moment (including me :) ). After a bit of a lull, there are a stack of skylines that seem to be going up forsale at the moment. In VIC, there is about 10 skylines i could probably name that have been put up for sale recently or been sold. Why exactly?

1. People cashing in while they can still get good money for modified cars with the new RAWS system?

2. Some of the younger guys are realising how much it actually costs to keep a skyline on the road after owning one for 6-12 months?

3. People need money for other things such as houses, etc.

4. Insurance costs are going up too much and cops getting to heavy on imports?

5. People want more rice, cheaper TCO and things rather than pure power these days.

I guess mine is a bit of a mix between 1 and 3.. what about everybody else?

well, my hubby lost his licence for a year so we decided to sell his GTR - no point keeping it sitting in the garage for a year. I've been driving it but it uses so much fuel! It's just a waste sitting there depreciating in the garage. He'll most likely get another one later when he gets his licence back next year
