Water Pump

hey guys. i installed a water pump today. a new Proteck one. but i get whining noises from it. like its the bearing inside the pump when i rev it slightly. any ideas how to stop the noise.?

if bearing is noisy it means stuffed

yeah found the problem. too many beers and i didnt relise i put the timing belt around the other side. with the gates timing belt its got arrows. the orginal didnt have any. did the job twice but aww well i learnt something new.
