Hey hey,

My abs unit is leaking very badly, and i cannot purchase a new seal kit from anywhere. I do not want to replace it with another second hand unit. After reading about R32 ABS capabilities, and testing it out myself, it is quite terrible... So i want to remove it.

Now to remove the complete unit out of the engine bay is it possible to do it without replacing the master cylinder? Can i just loop the lines around so they come out of the cylinder and go straight back in?? That way i can dismantle the ABS unit and try rebuild it myself and then re install it. Im just worried about the lagalities of removing it... if i believe correctly it would be illegal to remove as it is a factory safety component?

Cheers

realistically they dont lower it though... the brakes work like shit and i have brand new slotted rotors and greenstuff pads all round and braided brakes. Professionally bleed from better brakes and still shit. Ill take it to work and try fix it but if i cant ill leave it out. Any help??
