Pioneer 7.5" DVD/CD/MP3/TV/VCD, Touchscreen 5.1 Dobly In car deck!! - $2000 off RRP

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I own a Nissan 200SX S15 2001 model and always ready through these forums. I recently imported some car augio gear into Australia and thought this may interest you.

See: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...gory=14946&rd=1

I have 3 of these units for sale, i sold 1 last week.

I have a very similar model in my car, see:

www.payam.com.au/200SX.htm

This is the best of the best! Take a look and email me if you are interested. I'm in Sydney but can post anywhere in Australia.

Thanks and good luck!

Payam

I saw one of these on the weekend:

- Autobahn in Frankston

- 7" model as you have on ebay

- Sticker price was $4400

- Obviously Australian version with all warranties etc.

Which raises some issues..

- They are out in Australia - listed on the pioneer australia site too

- I very much doubt they would retail for more than $1000 than Autobahn has it listed for..

- JB, however, still has the old model as a runout

- They are very very sexy I will admit :D

How would the receipts and warranty be transferable from a USA based shop/sale to an Australian individual in Australia - can hardly take it back to the shop can we.. :)

I'm not just trolling here or something, I have just comitted to purchasing an older model version for a lot less than this.. so I am still quite interested in the possibilities :)

Hi, Can you tell me if AutoBahn has this model as the P7500DVD?

This is a 7.5" Touchscreen LCD with DVD-Audio capability also and 5.1 Doby receiver and TV. Pioneer has SIMILAR models with a 7" screen and dvd and mp3 but very few have touchscreen and all the other offers. I doubt that any retailer in australia has this. I suggest you phone Authobahn and ask them the model number, it's probably something like P7400 (which is the one all aussie retailers have had for 1 year now), ask for the AVH-P7500DVD.

This is the best unit out now, check it out.

Hi, Also if any problems. Send the unit back to me, i'll send it to Pionner USA for a 2 week repair/swap. No problems with warranty at all. i've had the AVH-P6500DVD Model in my 200SX for 6 months, no problems with it..works great, impresses all who are lucky enough to ride in my car. hehe...

This is the one I saw..

http://www.pioneeraus.com.au/car/catalogue...h-p7550dvd.html

- Only 7" screen, but ist still a touchscreen and DVD-Audio and the likes.

- Apologies for casting dispersions

Certainly has a lot more features than the previous model, but I can't really afford the huge jump in price - nor justify it given that I don't have any DVD-Audio's, probably won't have full 5.1 in my car etc.

The 7500 also won at the EISA Awards:

http://www.eisa-awards.org/awards/2003-2004/mobile.htm

Personally I would still be very apprehensive in buying this off someone I didn't know personally due to the warranty/repair hassles that could occur - given its not for sale in Australia..

Good luck with the sale dude.

what truck did these fall off?

No truck, they were imported. Simple as that, purchased and being resold for those who are keen on having the best.

Simple as that. I even have the receipt from the US wholesaler which can also be supplied to you as proof of purchase if you need this.

    • I can't help with the clearance question, I've always taken my machine shop's advice on that. It is worth considering that a shop that does that every day for road cars will be looking for as good as they can get off the shelf, not perfect. If you want more careful race style "blueprinting" then you need a race shop to measure/machine the engine. I do have an opinion on line boring the block though....don't do it unless you have to. The crank centre moves higher but the oil pump stays in the same place when you line bore the block.
    • Hey that reminds me, are you changing your forum name to "The Hairdresser" too?
    • There's no figuring out with a Haltech, you literally load up the base map, plug in the vac/boost reference from your manifold to the ECU (or an external MAP) sensor, wire up an IAT and it will run pretty well out of the box. The ignition tables are quite well defined and safe enough for someone to give it a hit (although I don't recommend it if you've got anything besides the stock gear on the motor).
    • You're not wrong, but more than a few times I've heard of people running into issues where their injector characterization isn't quite right and that approach works for that specific configuration but once they switch over to a new set they discover a whole bunch of stuff wasn't set up correctly. It's slightly more annoying to reverse engineer the OEM MAF transfer function but you already have the sensor wired up to the factory harness so keeping it around for a few weeks more while you figure out the tune is easy enough. I've seen GM also use a combination of both MAF + MAP in their ECUs before, MAF is for steady state and a calculation of the cylinder VE to correct the base VE table, then in transients it uses that calculated VE + raw MAP to determine cylinder filling somehow.
    • I know this one’s the BB one. My tuner did make mention about the actuator. I am curious about the VCT as well
