Dam those electric mirrors to hell

Is it just me, or do other ppl also forget to open their mirrors when they get in the car? I drove from the gym -> home last night (11km) and when I got home I went to close the mirrors and realised I never opened them when i left...

Anybody else done this? Or am I the worlds greatest driver and who needs mirrors anyhoo

its usually at least 5 min before i realise mine are folded back. i then fold them out, embarassed i reckon it looks cool folding them out when you're driving along haha

lol.. i tried doing that on the corona. it screwed up. had to pull down the window and fold it out manually. damn toyota.

what i do is fold take key out switch back to open so when i jump back in and start it up it folds out auto....if u can be bothered foldin them in the first place then u can be bothered flickin the switch back to open before u get out:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

cant do that with the turbo timer it keeps the engine running so the mirrors would just pop out again doh....

does it wreck the motor if you leave it on in/out? i.e. is the motor always trying to move, like keeping your finger on the window down after it's already down..

i just keep mine on open after i have turned the key off so it folds back out, but other wise i drive for like 10min with em closed in.

also the one time i didn't close them a 4x4 next to me left a nice little scratch
