ok the problem is the car looses all power when im driving all of a sudden and when i try to rev it no response happens i got the coilpacks,fuel pump,02sensor and new plugs all changed it stoped it a little but still does it and its dangerous if any has had a similair or same problem help very appreciated cheers

hey mate this might sound strange but this happened in my ford fairmont 5L the alternator rectiffer unit inside the alternator heated up and arched out and instead of producing DC current that all cars run on it was producing A/C current coursing all sorts of strange electrical shit, no power no responce, no shifting of gears, gauges chucking a spaz ect. Also have you changed your fuel filter ? Have you played with the igintion timeing advanceted it to much and the knock sensor is picking up pinging and coursing the problem Check the knock sensor as well theres acouple of things that may course it
