Westnet pretty much has the best account on the WAIX.

if you were shaped,, then you are over your limit.

either that or the network was being leeched to buggary

i've got iiNet and had no problems. was shaped for a while but other than that, good speed.

Just got 512/128 through Westnet and ticked the optional Static IP box to run some services from home. Not bad for $79/mth. Good service too to help me get connected through the Billion modem I got.

westnet are king on service, we dont fob ppls off in the service department (tech support) which is what i do, and we have some top technicians working for us. We offer statics on adslaccounts meaning you can push your DNS through it and host a server so to speak, we are now interstate too. Shaping is better than having no traffic tho, and you can turn this option off in your account, plus your waix is still full speed.
