All proceeds for from the event are going towards the b105 royal childrens hospital foundation to help them purchase vital medical equipment and Fund medical research, so that scientists can find better treatments and cures for childhood illnesses.

donations are $10 per car (feel free to donate more!) we also have 200 free castrol showbags including drink, raffle ticket and a bunch of stickers for your ridE, go see one of our promogirls at the start location to support the cause!

From there we will all leave in a cruise down to cleveland, parking at the touch football association carpark area at the cleveland showgrounds on long street for a bbq and show shine!

There was something like 1000 fliers dropped off at Autobarns from bris to gc last week. More flyers had to get printed and handed out as they were all gone within a week.

This will be QLD'S biggest event of the year.

As for police, there has already been discussions and basically will be a very lenient day as all proceeds will be going to charity. That is not to say that any hooning or misbehavior will be tolerated.

We will also have a police escort as there will be that many cars.

We're estimating a minimum of 300-500 cars, 6-700 people in total... so far over 2,500 flyers have been distributed around GC & Brissy..

Were expecting many of the big HP cars that don't usually come out to be at this one, along with photographers from Fast Fours, Hot4's, Mischeif Magazine and what not...

Given it is a charity cruise that has been well organized shouldn't be any problems with defects and what not.

DIRECTIONS FOR THE CRUISES ARE AS FOLLOWS

BRISBANE MEET

1. Follow Bicentennial Road to the Gateway Mwy (1.2km)

2.Head Southbound on the Mwy until the Old Cleveland Road exit (you will pass over the Gateway Bridge and through the Tolls). (21km)

3. Follow Old Cleveland Road through to Cleveland. (this road will turn into Finucane Rd, 13km).

4. Turn right at the round about onto Wellington St.

5. At the next roundabout, turn left onto Russell St and then right onto Smith St at the following roundabout.

6. Follow Smith St until you reach Long St (First left, 1km) and then take the first entrance into the show grounds.

GOLD COAST

1. Follow Smith Street through to the Pacific Motorway

2.Continue along the Motorway until you reach the Cleveland exit (Exit 30,Beenleigh-Redland Bay Rd)

3.Follow Beenleigh-Redland Bay Rd approx 30km. During this time the name of the road will change a couple of times, but we will stay on this road until we reach Long Street. (We will pass through Carbrook, Victoria Point and then into Cleveland centre)

4. We will eventually reach a roundabout at the top of a slight hill, turn left and then take the second entrance into the grounds (you will know the roundabout when we get to it).
