Rev Hunting R33

Hey guyz i have a R33 s2 mods include Apexi pod, apexi exhaust just jap dump pipe and high flow cat, Greddy FMIC.

On warm up the car seems to idle up and down between 500-700 this continues untill the car temp is warm.

Any ideas from someone that knows what they are talking.

my s1 does that too, though its a lot more modified than yours. id be interested to see if theres any simple solution. tune your power fc no doubt. but ive only got a remap.

ive got a s2 r33 and have had the problem for years, still dont know what the issue is

any help?

Could be slight vacuum leak, could be dirty idle control valve or could just be in the tune. Hard to say.

I have already cleaned the AAC controller also checked my AF meter with someone elses and mine is all good.

Hey bud, have you done a diagnostic and see if any codes come up?

For some reason it makes me wonder if your water temp sensor is on its way out perhaps. I think its code 13 for the temp sensor.

don't have an answer for you.. but what kind of rev fluctuation is needed before it's defined as hunting?
