Just Installd Fmic On R33 S2 Have Question

Hi ive just put in a fmic into my s2 r33 with mods exhust and air intake, and i feel alot more lag which i expected and once it kicks in you do feel signifcant power and also my 0-100 times seem to have worsened is that normal.

no wat brand did u use? the car shouldnt lag should increasen power if anyhthing?

its the just jap stealth ones. it does have more power after the lag but it takes a while for it to kick in because of the lag

Maybe more piping and larger intercooler size means air has to travel further giving more lag?

i just did the boost soloinoid mod and that seems to have reduced lag abit by boostin quiker

In theory a larger intercooler or longer piping will make more lag due to it taking longer to pressurise a larger volume of air, simple physics. However in your case, the lag increase wouldn't be noticable, so if you can actually notice a difference and its not a placebo affect i would check over everything. You didn't leave a hose clamp a bit loose and its leaking a bit of boost out? Does it hold peak boost or is it fluctuating?

ive cheked all hoses and there tight and yeah it does hold boost
