grab the turbotech and if you don't like it sell it here it will be snapped up in no time ;)

your tuner may not of heard of it does this mean its no good ?? no just means he doesn't know as much as your thing or he wants to sell you a turbosmart one

Whats the deal with the cops looking in the passanger door for 10 mins pulling out your door trim etc when they pull you over :S!

The passenger side is where the ECU is, if they are there they'll be looking around for an aftermarket ECU.

turbotech sounds good! save me some fuel too ;)

Ah, yeah the first 2 times they whent nuts trying to look for something i thought they where looking for a hidden EBC or something...... will the nistune show up? or is it only the fully installed ecu's like the POWER FC they will be able to see.

cheers pals : ) (im goin to have to drive to a adelaide cruise )

honestly i wouldn't be putting my child in a seat with a restraint that's been riveted in.

get it done properly it should be welded in

The restraints are bolted , but they must be captive, hence the pot rivet.

You will find the majority of them are installed this way, and defiantly anything that came in under the 15 year old rule.

can anyone give me a detailed decription of what they test for at regency? because i took my car a mechanic and need to know what needs to be done to pass. tyre ware break ware wiper blades anything thanks alot

They check everything, a mechanic should know what needs doing for a car to be roadworthy.

Make sure you check all the things meant to be done for compliance have actually been done, eg in my case no rear eye level light and child seat anchor points.

The other things that you might think they won't notice (but they will) are ball joints, wheel bearings and bushes in odd places, even bolts missing from dump pipe, exhaust flanges etc will be checked.

Check that your front demister works, washers and water in the washer bottle. 80kph written on the spare wheel, no tears or metal showing through the seats.

Apart from this everything else that is obvious like completely 100% stock motor fuel and turbo wise, induction mods like pod (if mounted) intercooler are fine but not turbos. All emissions gear needs to be in place as well.
