How do you read a stock boost gauge on Auto R33....Low boost??

in reference to the thread question...

how to read a stock boost gauge:

0 = 0psi

+3.5 = 6.58psi

+7 = 13.2psi

to work out your value in psi:

x = your value in mmHg from the gauge

y = boost value in psi

y = (x / 7.6) * 14.3

EDIT: to change this for bar conversion, just replace the 14.3 with 1 (or remove the "* 14.3" part...)

So it will stall with a BOV in an auto skyline!! I was thinking of getting the Blitz BOV, so close but now I guess if I still want one i'll get one that plump back. I saw GFB got one made for Skylines.

But beside the noise, is there any gain or advantage of having a BOV in an auto??

there is an advantage of having A bov over having NO bov. but there really isn't much advantage of having an aftermarket one unless you are running 20+psi

nope plumbacks dont make any sound unless u block it off n make it vent out.. but youre gonna have stalling prob. etc.

my stock plumbck makes a sound... i hear things through the high-flow panel filter with part of the airbox removed...

heheh Apache, the stock one sounds a little soft. Something slightly louder/ricier would be nice - nothing too over the top though. But booyah to that cos plumb back ones dont make anymore sound than stock and i dun want to be readily defectable
