StinkyPoo
Hey guys, IDA will be holding another Drift Day in December. The last few drift days have been lacking in numbers, meaning the club is losing money and makes it more difficult to hold more days. If your interested please follow this link to the IDA site: http://www.initialdrift.com.au/forums/view...577&start=0 It is a Practise day and alot of people try drifting for the first time. ************* D-Day, Oran Park North Circuit - 14th December 2008 Sorry guys but we had to pull the plug on the GP day, we want to be around next year to run more days so we couldn't gamble any more of the clubs money on people not showing up. This event will be a multiple car drift day on the North Circuit (Driftland) at Oran Park. Two different layouts will be run to cater to all skill levels. YOUR CAR WILL NEED TO PASS SCRUTINEERING - Working seatbelts or valid harnesses, properly installed seats, working brakes and brakelights, working windscreen wipers if it rains, all wheelnuts present and no leaks are the basics. Convertibles will not be allowed unless they have a rollcage that extends above the driver's head. Any questions, please ask or read the FAQ below. YOU WILL NEED AN AS1698 (that little red and silver sticker) APPROVED HELMET, LONG SLEEVES, PANTS AND CLOSED SHOES Please note that your car must have some sort of secondary bonnet restraint (bonnet catches, or a strap or cable of some type) and have all holes in the firewall and floor sealed up. A free sausage sizzle and drink will be provided for all drivers who enter. That doesn't include extra ones for your mates or girlfriend! Spectators: $10 Here's how to work out how much it costs for you: If you're an Initial Drift member with a CAMS licence, it's $140 If you're not an Initial Drift member, but have a CAMS licence, it's $170 If you're an Initial Drift Associate Member with a CAMS licence, it's $170 If you want to join with a yearly Associate Membership it's $170 + $50 +$50 = $270 If you want to join with a yearly Full Membership, it's $140 + $170 +$50 = $360 HOW TO ENTER: Download the ENTRY FORM<-- Click Link To Open. (Not working? Download the latest Adobe Reader HERE) Read it and fill it out. Scroll down to the bottom and click the button to email the form to us. Deposit your money into the bank account on the entry form (by direct deposit either on the internet or at your bank), and make sure you put the remitter name as your real name, and put ORAN NORTH or something similar as the description. This will secure your spot. All you have to do then is turn up. PRE-ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THURSDAY THE 12th EVENING, AS THE PAYMENT SOMETIMES NEEDS 24 HOURS TO CLEAR BEFORE YOU SECURE A PLACE. Entries can be made on the morning if the event doesn't fill up, but prepayments are preferred. Due to the extra administration required, drivers who do not prepay will no longer be refunded gate entry. If you prepay, your name will go on the gate list for free entry, or if you're a member, entry is free if you show your membership card. Kwyjibo
I'd recommend people get out there. A huge amount of fun. North Circuit is good to learn on and nobody cares how crap you are(as you can tell by the vid of me). I can't make it for a few months due to lack of funds though...
