The motor is complete, minus injectors. It still has the wiring loom, alternator, startor motor, radiator fan and Air Condensor connected to it. This price is with all the items so if you don't need then you could take them off and sell them individually.

I brought it to put in my car but since found a forged motor for a good price so no point in keeping this.

Pick up Chipping Norton (near Liverpool) or I could deliver it anywhere in Sydney for a small fee.

Any questions please PM or call 0413 885 508

Price slightly negotiable.

Thanks

Take a pic of the exhaust side mate :)

Edit. Breather off exhaust cam side feeding into positive air pressure of the intake ? Thats a non-turbo thing.

Thanks for the reply's. Is there any other way to tell if it's a DET other than hump at the rear of the cam cover. I spoke to the guy I brought it of and he said he swapped a few bits and pieces over. Does this sound like bullsh*t or would it be possible to put the N/A cam covers on the turbo model?

I have taken some more pics, any more help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have to agree; does look like a rb25de.

As stated above, take a pic of the exhaust side to determine if it's a det or a de

DET's have the "hump" at the rear of each cam cover

I tried fitting NA rocker covers to my DET in a half ditched effort to make it look like a rb20. They wouldn't fit. The humps in the rear of the DET one's are there to clear something underneath...

I'd say maybe you've been ripped off, sorry.

all may not be lost....

it does look like a de engine.... but it looks like an oil line has been drilled? one of your pics shows the side of the block with a piece of rag jammed in a hole... pretty sure that would be oil... if it is, check if there is a return line aswell, ( cant see from the pics unless it is hiding behind some of the loom stuff) if there is a return line, as long as someone gets a turbo that is oil cooled, the engine can still be used with a turbo with higher compression like mine :)

gl with it mate! probably better you got the forged engine then eh?

Adam

its got non turb roccer covers, r32 engine mounts, some non turbo blocks come with screw-in bungs where u get oil and coolant 4 turbo frm, but has coolant outlet at back under manifold that normaly goes to hard line round back of head and around to turbo (only on turb) non hi-cas p/s pump (so would assume its out of r32 therefor non turb!) lol, dosnt look 2 have vct (cant see verry well) and like he said b4, if you hooked up as is you would have boost pressure goin in to rocker covers and sump etc...

we have made a good amount of power out of non turb 25's b4 tho... just have realy high compression... think its like 10.5:1!!!!

hope that helps man... or may jus make it harder lol :D
