the cheapest profc II boost controller (you know the Greddy one) that i could find here was $450.00 (highest was $600.00) i got it of Nengun for $350.00. also a greddy ls-spec intercooler was $429.00 and the cheapest one here was around $800.00 (highest was $999.00).

they were really good but then to dollar went south and now its better to get it from someone locally.

also their stuff takes like 3-4weeks to deliver so if you need it now then get it locally if you can.

i think bargaining for a business kinda sends mixed messages to consumers and is too much of a headache as one person will question why one got so and so for so and so price and so on so so. It is more efficient in a business sense to just stick to the game plan.

it wouldnt hurt to ask but id say unless your spending 5k plus on say 5+ items i dont think your gonna get a discount. If you can get it cheaper at your local tuner it would make sense to get it off him wouldnt it? shop around, compare prices and ask yourself if delivery times is worth the money saved. i myself am willing to pay abit extra to get soemthing in my hands quicker if I really need it.

I think it is always worth asking for a discount. especially in this economy. there are profit margins

all down the line & we all know the majority of the stuff we buy is INSTANTLY worth between 10% and

30% of what we paid the moment it comes out of the box and is fitted. With the possible exception

of three famous big brake kits, and some alloy wheels..

Anyway I did ask, and a nengun person said for a combined order of sufficient size they can do

something. Culturally I know Japanese businesses tend to stick to list prices on single items.. but

with the yen so ridiculously high vs even the USD, I reckon their trade has fallen off a cliff. They're

going to have to do something & soon.

yeah theres always no harm in asking. AUD sucks mega aloa, has stopped me buying heaps of things that i wouldnt have thought twice on 6 months ago. I guess your right that they're suffering on their side also, never really thought of it that way. I've heard some local parts importers here have closed up due to it. ah well...what can you do really.
