I'm Back To Skyline Ownership!

Hello,

I'm getting an R34 next week! Yep, I gave the company car back to Subaru. My Skyline has a Carrozerria DVD/sat nav/tv unit in addition to the CD/FM/AM tuner.

I know that converting the radio tuner is possible, but has anyone done this themselves? I would much appreciate a bit of advice on doing the conversion and what parts to buy.

Also, can the TV/Sat Nav be put into use in Aus?

I've got the standard TV thing in my R34, biggest peice of shit, nothing but trouble. I cant wait to take the thing out

you just get this gizzmo that plugs into your head unit to open up the band to over the 100 mark so you can get aussie channels.

the nav/radioradio is useless in oz.... id just upgrade to aftermarket stuff..... or get the triple gauge cluster set....

Just to clarify... Its NOT the factory unit. Its a Carrozzeria unit.

its domestic pioneer, the carrozerria brand

not worth researching, asking or trying to convert it

new head units cost nothing these days and in dash tvs are cheap as ebay bargains

Its just another 31 with a few slightly rounder edges and a newer build date.

Agreed. I did however manage to offload the stuff I pulled out for $100 to someone over here. God knows what they were going to do with it

I chucked one of those band shifters in when I first got mine... wasn't the greatest for reception. Then some prick broke in and stole the face...

Just get something local I reckon.
