it did eventually blow up on him.. but he was making around 500hp... i think your referring to this thread -->

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ma...25-t106775.html

It blew on him as he was pushing more and more nitrous into it.

I know Jason, have seen the car.

Ran a 10.8 IIRC with him backing off BEFORE the line.

Was making 370 odd RWKW, with Nitrous.

^^ its been covered so many many times now dude. You should have a search.

Reliable (5+ years) seems to be 300-330rwkw. Anymore than that and the motors are limited.

Nothing is reliable when you mention un opened rb26dett :D

wheres the timeslip?

you cant claim the title without a timeslip.

dyno printouts or sketchy, mph tells all.

when did dyno printouts come into it??

10.675 @ 137.89mph from memory.

It did have 260 deg pon cams and cam gears set to zero (I still class it as an unopened engine). It was also with a 50hp shot of gas. Just good bolt ons (T517z's).

The car was raced with full furnature, street exhaust, street legal tyres, stereo etc....

oorrr thread just got interesting .....

so no cams, no cam gears ?

Got a copy of the time slip ?

10.6 what ??

I thort it might come down to 1/10ths.

anyone else remember this... i cant find it... NO idea what keywords to use :D

i remmeber std internal r33's running high 10's done by CREATD a few years back and low 11's on radials. and one of their white r33 gtr's did a 10.60.

Ahh the good ol days. I wanted that 10 sec slip so bad..... At that time Tassie was the last state to run a 10sec GTR pass. I got a lot of help over the phone from Peter Hall for set up and some driving tips from Kier Willson...

That engine lasted nearly 2 years... untill I un/intentionally?? blew it the day before I left to go work overseas.
