had 17x8/9 +16 all round and fit fine without any guard work (225/45/17 front, 235/45/17 rear)

also had 17x9+22 all round with no guard work either (215/45/17 front, 235/45/17 rear)

can easily fit 17x9 + 18 front & 17x10 +18 rear without guard work i reckon.

yeah well you had the wrong offset then (iirc the stock rims are 17x7.5 +38) .. doesn't matter if it fits or not, the car has a certain track and suspension and steering geometry specification. If you use the wrong offset, you can do some damage plus shit like different turning radius, extra force on wheel bearings etc

Having said that, why bother with 17's ? If you're going aftermarket rims might as well get 18"

17's have their place... if you drift for one, the tyres are cheaper.

17x10+18 will need guard work for sure! my 9.5+30's sit JUST outside my rolled guards and 10+18 will sit another 18mm further

Hey guys,

i recently picked up my 34 GT-T coupe 5sp manny turbs with 50 thou on the clocko!

hell pumped - i wanna get it on some smooth rims but i have no idea what to get! there are so many good sets!

car is already lowerd, so thats sorted, just need some wheel.

If anyone can post pics that would be awesome!

Can't upload the pics but BIM driftmaster rims are 6 spoke rims and depending on how big you go will have plenty of dish.

If you google it it's not the chrome ones i'm talking about it's the black and silver ones. Nice.
