any GTR rear cradles would be the go. Can get the whole cradle for around $1000. That way you have the diff, shafts and hubs. as far as driveshaft i personally had a 3" single piece shaft made. that way i had the gtr uni at the back and i had a heavy duty uni put at the front, but i am running a 6 speed tremec and ls1.

I am doing a conversion and would like to know which model Skyline driveshaft (with universal joints) would be strong enough to handle around 500hp through an LSD?

Mine will be an LS1 as well, through a BMW LSD. I dont need the whole rear end just need the driveshafts. Where did you get yours made?

why use a bmw LSD? the GTR lsd is a good thing. 2 way, mechanical clutch plate LSD unlike the crap viscous LSDs in all the other skylines. sticking to the complete GTR cradle will be easiest and probably best as you wont have to stuff around with diff mounts etc. 33 and 34 cradles have slightly better suspension geometry but the 32 cradle will probably be easier to get, and cheaper. and is still good.

Are the mounting points on the cradle identical between 32, 33 and 34?

the mounting points between the cradle and the body are a little different (like a few mm). but can be sorted with offset bushes apparently. the suspension arm pick-up points on the cradle are a little different too with the R33/34 cradles having better rear end geometry than the 32s.
