Few Issues With Teh Emo 34

my car's running shit atm

few things i've noticed that dont feel normal

1. car stutters on idle while at traffic lights etc, revs drops to 200-300 and bounce up to 400

2. not boosting properly. tried grounding the dual stage boost thingy but car just boosts to 15psi+ so its currently unplugged.

max it boosts up to now is about 8-9 psi. i have an r32 rb20 actuater in (which should be set to 10psi but never been there )

3. car does not go past 5-6psi in 1st/2nd (dont think this is normal?) car is auto btw

4. when putting my foot down while crusing at ~60km/h, car revs nicely to about 4-5grand then power just seems to cut out for a bit then it continues reving

i think thats all lol.

only mods are 3" catback and pod

any ideas/help/suggestions etc would be much appreciated.

Coils are a possibility, as are plugs and the AFM. It could also have an issue with the Crank Angle Sensor or be a combination of many things. Bad idle can be caused by the AAC valve and the restriction in boost is the default behaviour in 33's, not sure about 34's. In a 33 you can bypass the dual stage solenoid (this is a factory part, not sure of the one you were talking about is factory or aftermarket). While sorting issues remove the r32 actuator, it's another variable.

Do you have a mate with a 34? If so try his coils and if there's no change try his AFM as well. Also check your plugs for obvious issues.

Start somewhere and start taking notes, let us know how you go.
