Help With Radio

Can somebody please help us?

My son purchased an R33 import. His radio does not allow him to listen to all the Sydney stations. He mentioned something about getting a code to unloock it. Is anybody aware of this? If yes, can you tell us what the code is?

To answer the question correctly you have a radio that does not cover all the bands to australian frequency's you will need the part called a band expander that fits in the antena line at the radio or just purchase a new radio CD player is the better solution as band expanders tend to ruin radio tuners as it adds a small amount of power to the radio antena which frys the tuner electronics after a while.

there is no fix or code for these radio's at all

best option, just buy a local CD tuner. you can get a decent CD player with MP3, aux in etc for under $150 these days. or band expander, $20. get the 18 mhz one if you are in sydney.
