As topic says, the car wasnt supplied with the tool to get the lock nuts off and since purchase the guy i bought it off has coincidentally vanished from the face of the earth.

I've been considering buying a smaller sized socket and bashing it onto the lock nuts or driving down to a tyre shop and seeing if they will take them off, THOUGH im a bit hesitant as ppl tell me that you can damage the rim.

Anybody got tips/advice

thanks

lost my lock key for my lock nuts on my ute before. I used a impact socket (the black ones which can take a hell alot of a beating) smashed it onto the lock nut and used my rattle gun and it took it right off.

Safe to say that the lock nut was well and truly f**ked.

lol.

I had the same thing happen to me. Got new rims for my R34 not long after getting it. The car was imported from Japan and had lock nuts on the stockies without a key. Bashed an old socket on and loosened the nuts. Easy
