Any ideas on what I could use to replace the foamy stuff located on the top of where the stock air intake starts? Mine is disintergrating badly and obviously ending up in my filter which means i have to clean it frequently.

Can i just remove it or should I replace it with something from like clark rubber?

i had another look just a minute ago when i was servicing my pod

teh foamy bit created sort of a tunnel between the bonnet where the air is directed . if you have a look at the top of the bonnet on the right hand side it curves to the right , what i did is i leave the stock air intakeon (minus the foam as it disintegrates) so its basically directly over the pod , so its sort of getting a cold air BOOST ! like a cold air intake but not as good :P

Go to your local hardware store they have similar stuff...sticky on one side and normal on the other. Cost like $20 for like 2meters or something too much left over but nice and thick...works a treat. you just stick it on to the shape of all the curves of the intake scoop.
