i take my hat off to you for having the balls to open the bonnet, and the common sense to ask for help on here. we all start somewhere and im going to resist the temptation to poke fun, although you did make me smile.

theres some PDF files floating round the internet which have allthe service info nthe various skyline engines. find one of those and start there. everything is simple if you have the instructions infront of you.......

glad you got it sorted without damage to the engine, and happy motoring.

dude, you have to completely drain the old oil out before you put the new stuff in.

ie. take care for a drive so oil is warm.

jack up the front. place drip tray under the sump.

take off top oil cap

undo sump plug bolt

let oil drain out the bottom for 10 mins or so

then put sump plug back in

fill up from the top to the appropriate level. each car takes a different amount of oil. make sure you know how much your car needs

replace oil cap.

start car, run for a minute or two.

turn car off and check oil level. top up or drain as needed.

now enjoy.

also, personally I would go with a better oil than turbolight. it's cheap rubbish really. sure it may be 'ok' but there are many better oils out there. if you want something that is actually good, go with motul chrono 300V. very good oil for your skyline to live a long happy life. :)

you forgot to add, while the oil is being/has drained remove and replace oil filter! note when u change oil filter make sure you put oil In the filter before hand, by adding oil to the filter and letting it soak in then adding more till its half full of oil, ALSO make sure you put oil on the rubber O ring this will help the filter ring slide on instead of grabbing and breaking the O ring!!

in sayng that i hope you have redone the oil change (including filter) not just drain a bit out!
