Battery Dying Or Running Out Of Charge?

Hi,

I have a feeling that that my battery could be on the way out or its running out of charge. I'm a bit of a noob but the symptoms include:

1. Whenever i start the car in the morning, it stutters for about 3 seconds then it goes fine. The other day i started the car but this time it stuttered for a while until i slightly pressed on the accelerator to get the revs up then it was fine.

2. Whenever i flash my highbeams i can see my battery voltage go down then up again. I can hear the engine change noise.

3. Whenever i have the aircon on and i'm at the lights, sometimes the battery voltage meter will drop then go fine again.

Just wondering if this has something to do with the battery or something else?

by the sounds of it mate you have an alternator problem. get to ya local auto elect so they can check it out for certain.

Check the tension on the alternator belt.
