Quick Q, How Far Does The Yoke Going Into A R34 Gtt Gearbox?

Reason i ask, is i have to get a tailshaft shortened and im not sure if the yoke goes all the way in, "why dont i just see you ask" because its connected to a tailshaft thats too long to go in the car and there isnt enough room! thanks
