Nah Jack the Radical is a great car to drive,,,proberly the best race car Ive ever driven.

My old Capri sports sedan was by far more of a hand full.

Really? Was that on the old website?

Would love to get the go ahead on the Ultima >_<

I vote that at the end each entrant be allowed one lap sideways. Mmmm, wonder who's done that before...

I still can't believe i got in trouble for this, talk about fun police.

It was the most entertaining thing we saw all day... You definitely had the support of the crowd over at iced coffee, but we all knew it was a matter of time until you saw a black flag waved at you :P

Nathan, what times did you end up doing? Its an RB25? What sort of grunt and suspension did it have. Looking at getting a feel for what i should be aiming for from a full weight GTSt at Oran Park on street tyres. I figure if i throw on semis then i am a fair chance of getting a similar time :(

I did a 1.20 with 280rwkw and Federal RS tyres. I'm running an rb26 with a gt3582, retuned it last week on e85 and it made 320rwkw.

According to natsoft you did a 1:21.2...

Roy, I say you'd be doing the same times as DRIFTER or maybe quicker with re55's, providing you stay on the black stuff....

nah, I reckon my Supra on road tyres would run 1:21s this year. It did a 1:24.9 last year on Federal 595SS which were hopeless. The Kumho Ecsta XS tyres (180 treadwear) dropped 2.2 sec off Lakeside and 2.5 sec off QR Sprint times. I'd expect closer to 3 sec off Oran Park GP due to its length and the nature of the course. Plus maybe half a second from the slight power increase from the FMIC and FCD and 1 bar. It was stock last year.

Roy's car should have similar power in a much lighter body (Supra is 1640kg with driver & half a tank) and better tyres in Open class. I reckon 18s too.

Well i was back in Melb for 1 week and i got absolutely nothing done on the car. So it will be probably be running in its current state of disrepair rather than with its new bits.

So looks like i will be happy with a 1:20, and stoked with a 1:18. Either way i just hope the car is solid for the long drive back to Melb.
