I'd say, from their perspective they've seen you and the R31, and someone is G'ing someone up in that group, and they just came along for the ride.

The R31, but the lancer was been werid just holding back behind the other guy right on his bumper, or in the middle lane, not sure which, but only a car lenght back, i didnt think much of it at the time, i just thought the lancer wanted to run aswell.

the road is 3 lanes and 80km/h, we were doing 100 and after abit of baiting from me the R31 guy just hammered it off down the road, i was laughing my head off watching him go himself and then the lancer went for it, easily hit 150 then the lancer put his lights on and the guy pulled over. The guy in the R31 prob thinks im a cop lol

Just so lucky i didnt hit it and run him!

everyone seems to forget they are able to turn them on and off at will which i have seem done first hand, the chick i saw do it had a button on the mic she pushed then told me she had turn it off then advised me it would be ok to drive my unregistered ( 2 days out didn't get renwal letter and forgot when it was due) 08 model rodeo home as i was just aound the corner from home, after she booked me for it.

As far as im concerned unmark cars and cameras are there to catch you out not slow you down, if they where serious about slowing drivers down they would spend the $80,000 on 3 marked cars instead of one fpv f6 cause everyone slows down when they see a marked car hwp or not

Its been proven in studies that with mature drivers(I'm not talking about P platers or people 1 year off their P's) are safer drivers when driving faster. I see people who drive like grannys who would invoke much more of a risk than a speeding driver.

There is not one person here who will deny the fun and thrill to be had when just giving the car some. I'm not talking about raging through traffic at 130km+ Maybe a push off the lights, or if you're like me and drive 15km under the limit, its fun just to drop it to 2nd and get up to speed. No matter how fast, slow, I have ever gone I still maintain my car in a straight line. Its other drivers who are negligent of other drivers doings. I had a car run infront of me yesterday because he didn't feel like stopping on a round about. I had a bitch say I was speeding down the road and took a turn infront of her as she hit my car.

If I was speeding I would have DEFINITELY made it safely out of the situation and my car would have been in tact.

XKLABA, I'm not sure about you, but most people I know when driving along, when they see a new Holden or Ford commodore, they head straight back to the speed limit. Why? Because we have so many unmarked cars around my area.

So basically, what has happened, instead of everyone slowing when they see the police car, they're slowing for every car that "could" be a police car.

So now, by using an unmarked car, you've affectively turned every new model Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon into a speed deterrent... And you know what, they've had to spend no money doing it...

Their whole idea of "Any where, any time" is true, and that idea, is what is slowing more and more people down.

Oh, as to the 30 points thing, I'm not sure if you understand the points, but basically every offence in the actual law, has a points rating (NOT DEMERIT POINTS), most offences are 6 points... That means in a 12 hour shift, they need to book 5 people...

Ever driven on the freeway for one hour, smack on the speed limit and seen how many people speed past?

I'd usually have 2 - 3 HIGHSPEED speeders go past (Talking 130 - 140+ KM/H) yet alone those sitting on 120 in a 100 zone...

I'm pretty certain that the M2 is heavily patrolled by unmarked cars, and I do occasionally see marked cars on there too. This is especially so for the section between Windsor Road and the Abbott Road exit/start of the M7, because the speed limit drops from 100km/h to 90km/h (for no apparent reason that I can fathom).

Seriously you probebly get this alot but i think you have got to be one of the first cops id rather pull me over , But on a serious note i was going to go become a cop . But it came down to the amount of shit you guys have to deal with and the shit pay i figured meh not worth it

I got pulled over for an RBT + Defect on a saturday afternoon not long ago by an orange typhoon in Northmead.

But in terms of racing - i never race on the streets, and i always slow down if i see a current model ss/hsv/typhoon/xr6-8/etc.

I usually shake my head at any wanker trying to race me, and i'd love to come across an undercover cop revving at me with his borrowed car.

In regards to street racing, 2 weeks ago a VE Clubby tried to race me off the lights and i know that he saw my mum sitting in the passenger seat next to me, he was even in the left lane and i had my windows down. My mum didn't have nice things to say about him lol
