read all of this before posting

just wondering if something's not right. i have a front mount + s/s intake pipe + blocked bov (only temporary until i find a bov to put there)

ive noticed that other cars/skylines with similar setups get a more high pitched sort of noise/wistle while compresser surging were my car doesnt get the same high pitched flutter.

just curious to know why this is? could it be a leak somewhere or something?

serious answers only please

thanks

I think you have a serious case of.........

hahaha but no seriously now, If you've got an airbox it can muffle out the sound. It probably won't sound as crisp, and if you've got heat insulation it'll be even more so.

If it's just a pod, it could be the material. Get a stainless one if you want loudest crispest sound.

And no it won't be a leak

anyone knows the answer to this? "do you have to have front mount to get flutter noise? or can you use the stock cooler off r34? Guess you need aftermarket front mount cooler but thought id ask."

also do i need pod or can i use stock air filter.... wouldnt mind some of that flutter noise (personal choice)

can get flutter with stock setup with 11 turbo boosters and no bov with pod. Not full pidgeon spec though.

Got full pidge biatch?

Im running 14 psi, apexi pod and r34 cooler on r33, so i should get some sort of flutter if i block the bov. Ill give it a go. cheers for response.
