as above. its meant to run leaded fuel but now i gotta add this crap into it (only bought the car a couple weeks ago), but i thought a few jap cars from around this time didnt really need it, just not sure if this is one of em. any ideas?

L20B's have an alloy head, ergo they already have hardened valve seats so its not really an upper cylinder lubricant you are chasing. You may, however, want to think about knocking a degree or two off your static timing to eliminate detonation due to the lower octane rating of the unleaded crap (or, run premium at a minimum - 98 or better preferably)

Oh, and make sure you keep right on top of the oil changes. The oil delivery system to the cam in those things is ridiculously small and they can lose oil supply to the top of the motor way too easily.

sweet thanks for that man. this is actually the first car i've owned that i dont use bp ultimate in religiously lol, but will now. dont know if i can be bother with oil changes though.... car only cost me 200 :D
