Beer Baron, what boost control are you using on that second graph? Holds very well.

For example, my car came over with 11.5:1 AFR's, but pinging its ring off because there was over 30deg ignition timing in the top end.

I was running trust profec B II. then. and i'm going to use it again on the new set-up. in my experience with a little bit of set-up time they work really well for the money. I couldn't get anything else to hold boost better than that in any of my cars. they do occaisionaly give little spikes on cars that ramp up very hard onto boost from boost producing rpm (ie crusing at 4,500rpm, mash throttle, get small spike as solenoid cannot bypass enough air quickly enough) but they are very brief and never caused me any problem. a dual solenoid could probably cure that, but they cost twice as much, so I reckon value wise the profec B II is a good choice.
