Fuel Pump Fitting

hey guys,

have a BOSCH 044 fuel pump ready to go, does anyone know how to fit fuel pumps?

will pay favours whether they be sex related/alcohol related/etc.

I know theoretically how to do it. I can remove it and all that, and my mate explained how to change the actual pump, but I've never done it for real. Get a few mates together and i'm sure we can give it ago!

wouldn't you get a proper import workshop that has done this exact job heaps before to do it then?

i got an 044 in my one..... used new fuel hoses, two hose clamps the size of the fuel pump (to hold fuel pump to the cradle). I used the stock fuel pump sock with a bit of hose to connect it up.

yeah mate, no harm in getting it done by someone that has already done it and learn how to do it in the process?

i don't see any harm in that, do you?

sure, they might achieve it first go and yeah within an hour or so but i'm willing to learn

fuel pump is pretty simple (thanks to well designed fuel tanks in japanese cars) .. apparently you need to take the whole tank out and drain it in some american cars... lol

its easy in r32s because they have a square tank,

r33s have a f**ked up shape tank whch makes it hard and i have no idea about the r 34's shape

yeh of course not and it's nice to know that you did it yourself as well but just thought because you said it had to be done perfectly etc that a workshop was the best option.
